We also carry out customised analyses for our clients, developed individually for specific materials, processes or projects.
Education and popularisation
of science
1. Educational workshops for different age groups
Types of activities:
- workshops for organised groups,
- workshops and demonstrations – at picnics, conferences, meetings.
2. Popular science panels
Target groups:
- primary school pupils,
- secondary school pupils,
- adults, seniors, families with children,
- company employees.
Thematic areas:
- environmental education,
- aquatic environment,
- new food production technologies,
- water, carbon and hydrogen in the environment
and industry.
Technological support
1. Designing and building aquaculture, aquaponics
and hydroponics systems.
2. Designing tailor-made systems in accordance
with diagnosed needs.
3. Determining technical and spatial requirements
for the designed systems.
4. Optimising system performance.
5. Solving technological problems.
Advice on breeding and cultivation
1. Planning aquaponics and hydroponics production:
- selection of species and varieties,
- germination and cultivation methods,
- setting breeding and cultivation schedules and others.
2. Consultations in the field of animal and plant production:
- solving problems that arise in breeding and cultivation,
- diagnosing problems and needs,
- developing solutions to increase production efficiency and others.
3. Analysis of system operations and production:
- conducting analyses of individual stages,
- conducting measurements,
- compiling results and others.
Research – services
1. What do we test?
- proteins, fatty acids
- quantitative determination of biochemical components in raw material samples, semi-finished products and finished products:
- determination of protein content using the Kjeldahl
and spectrophotometric methods, - total polysaccharides.
- determination of protein content using the Kjeldahl
2. Enzymatic activity – measurement of the activity of selected enzymes in biological, industrial and environmental samples.
3. Physicochemical parameters – basic tests characteristic for quality control and standardisation:
- pH,
- moisture content and dry mass,
- density,
- electrolytic conductivity,
- soluble substance content.
4. Total ash – determination of mineral residue after combustion (gravimetric method in a muffle furnace),
used e.g. in the analysis of food, feed and biomass.
5. Microbiology:
- qualitative and quantitative analyses
of microorganisms (bacteria, fungi, yeasts), - identification of indicator and pathogenic microorganisms (E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria, etc.),
- microbiological monitoring of production environments.
